Children's Shows & Special Events

Shalom Sesame
In 1986, Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, released Shalom Sesame as a way to present the vitality and diversity of Israeli life and culture to American children. Rechov Samsum, the Israeli adaptation of Sesame Street has been broadcast in Israel since 1983. Following the release of Shalom Sesame - nearly a quarter of a century ago - it quickly became the best selling Jewish children's video of all time with over one million copies sold.

Now, thanks to a special partnership between the JCC Association and Sesame Workshop, Shalom Sesame, a new Multimedia Opportunity for Jewish Children everywhere, will have its exclusive world premiere at the Friedberg JCC on December 5th.
