Empowering Women Who Are Re-Entering The Paid Workforce
Baby Boomer ServicesA divorce, death of a spouse, job loss of a spouse or losing your life savings changes your life drastically. Whether you have never needed to work before or you have to re-enter the workforce there are many challenges as you get started. Learn from the experiences of two women, one divorced and one widowed, who have been through this situation and are now helping other women who are facing similar challenges.

The Brooklyn Dodgers 1939-1957
Baby Boomer ServicesJoin author/historian, Bud Livingston for a fascinating look back at Brooklyn and those wonderful days of Ebbets Field. You can just sit back in the catbird seat and hear all about "The Bums" and tear up the pea patch with the old Redhead, Walter Lanier Barber. You'll revisit those Boys of Summer and hear about some of the older fascinating characters like Van Lingle Mungo, Kirbe Higby Whit Wyatt, Babe Hermann and others.

Bud Livingston is a lecturer, past president of the Civil War Round Table of NY and author of President Lincoln's Third Largest City Brooklyn and the Civil War, and New York City and the Civil War, an article written in the holiday issue of Blue and Gray magazine.

Light refreshments will be served.
