Understanding and Navigating the Special Education System
Is your child newly diagnosed as having special educational needs? Trying to figure out the meaning of the alphabet soup of terminology? Wondering how to transition from Nassau County's Early Intervention (EI) program to your school district's Committee on Pre-School Special Education (CPSE)?

Join Stacey Bloom, MSW, from FEGS, who specializes in programs for children with special needs. This is an on-going group that will meet twice a month at our Oceanside location. Free and open to the community. Underwritten by the Parenting Resource Network and FEGS. Babysitting is available for a small fee with advance registration only.

Advance reservation requested. Call Karen Horowitz at 634-4192.
