The J Walkers Tour the Historic Lower East Side Lunch at The Meatball Shop
Baby Boomer ServicesJoin our walking tour guide and owner of Walkin' New York Tours, Bob Gelber, for his newest NY Tour. Witness firsthand the gentrification of the once Immigrant-filled Lower East Side into a trendy Manhattan neighborhood. Visit Economy Candy, a 70-year-old family business and end the walk with a knish tasting at the 100-year-old Yanoh Shimmel's.

Lunch will be at The Meatball Shop as featured on the Food Network's hit show, The Best Thing I Ever Ate.

After the market it's off to SUGO Restaurant, known as the Italian eatery with an urban flair. SUGO recently received national attention when Chef Adam Goldgell was featured on the Food Network's hit show Chopped. Chef Goldgell will meet us and talk about why he's a chef and about his passion for food!

Our second stop is Simon Pearce hand blown glass on the Brandywine! Dine overlooking the water while watching and interacting with the glassblowers.
